This Shalako pendant has an adobe dwelling scene with hand saw cut design edges and is 2 5/8" by 1 3/8". The Shalako pendant is on a 18" sterling silver flat mariner chain with lobster clasp. Shalako is a series of dances and ceremonies at the winter solstice by the Zuni people at the winter solstice. The ceremony takes place after the harvest season and usually happens in December.
