This beautiful Golden Hills turquoise pendant necklace set is made by Navajo artist, Happy Piaso. The turquoise pendant is adorned with four gems with a rich-tan to brown matrix and are all set in smooth silver bezels, 7/8" by 5/8", 3/4" by 9/16" and the two at the sides, 7/16" by 1/2", encircled with silver twist and punched silver star beads at the edges. The turquoise pendant is 2 3/4" by 1 3/4" and is on antiqued silver and larimar silver beads. The silver beads graduate from 12mm to 6mm at the ends. The silver and larimar silver beads have a silver hook closure and are 20" in length. This necklace comes with matching silver and larimar bead earrings that have sterling silver french wires 1 3/4" in length. This set is signed by the artist.
The Golden Hills turquoise is a soft blue to a subtle periwinkle blue comes from the Altyn-Tyube mine in Kazakhstan and is known to produce hard, high-grade turquoise.
